We are a community based organization operating within Nyakach Sub-County, Kisumu County in the republic of Kenya.

The name,Power House is derived from the concept of an organization or place where there is a lot of activity or where a lot of things are produced. A Powerhouse is an organization that produces a lot of ideas or activity and has a lot of power or influence in its field. We focus on turning the minefield of great ideas into action to cause transformative and impactful change within the community.

To promote sustainable programs focusing on livelihood improvement, disaster risk reduction, integrated health and good governance through capacity building, service delivery, collaboration and advocacy within Nyakach Sub-County.
