Richard Ochieng Bonyo is a holder of Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University, Kenya. He also has a Masters of Arts in Project Planning and Management at the university of Nairobi, Kenya. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Mr. Bonyo also holds a certificate in Gender and Development from the World Bank Institute (2004).

He is a lead consultant in project Design,Implementation and Management with the Institute of Applied Studies and Research ( IASR), Progeny International (PI),Consulting and the Current Policy and Resource Mobilization Advisor to the county government of Homabay,Kenya. He is a member of the Board of Management for Ober Boys Secondary School,Keure Mixed Secondary School,Ogande Special School for the Mentally Handicapped and the Vice Chairperson of St. Mary's Andigo Catholic Church, Homabay Diocese.
